Continuing the off-road motorcycle theme…. This is the granddaddy of them all: the Gear-Up Ural.
It’s based on the 1938 BMW design - because the Red Army took the entire assembly line back to Russia with them in 1945.
It’s too big and heavy for me. In fact. it’s probably too big and heavy for most riders. But it’s interesting to find a “trike” like this (you can even send power to the sidecar wheel….and it has a reverse gear).
Y’see… although it LOOKS like a bike with sidecar, it doesn’t really function like a real bike. The whole thing is optimized for sidecar use - and it will probably fall over if you try to use the bike on its own.
